Installation
Please read the following instructions before attempting to use your Phantom Pad.
1. Upon removing the Phantom Pad from the bag, inspect every suction cup to insure its cleanliness. Please use the original packaging to store your Phantom Pad when not in use.
2. Inspect the neoprene liner and make sure it is void of debris.
3. Make sure your rear fender's surface is dry and clean.
4. To secure the Phantom Pad to the rear fender the suction cups must be completely dry. Refrain from licking or applying any form of saliva or moisture to the suction cups. Place the P-Pad onto the desired location, take your thumb and apply strong pressure in a downward motion onto the surface of the P-Pad directly above all of the suction cups.
5. To remove P-Pad from rear fender, take finger and gently pry each suction cup tab, this will release the suction cups pressure, then lift P-Pad off of rear fender.
6. Make sure that all suction cups are mounted securely before allowing a passenger to reide on the Phantom Pad.
7. To clean suction cups, apply a small amount of household rubbing alcohol to a soft, clean cloth and gently remove any residue acquired from application to wax polished fenders. Make sure all suction cups are dry before using your Phantom Pad again.
8. While using your Phantom Pad, be sure to ride safely, defensively and withiin the limits of the law and your abilities.
Warning - Do not apply Phantom Pad to motorcycles that have been recently painted. Ask your painter what is the required time for the paint to cure.
Phantom Pad should not be used under rainy and/or unsafe weather conditions.
Phantom Pad Warranty
The dual cavity suction cups are covered under an exclusive lifetime replacement policy. Damaged suction cups are replaced free of charge.
If a suction cup becomes damaged, please refer to the following instructions to receive your new suction cup/cups.
1. Cut out the proof of purchase voucher located on the back lower right corner of the original packaging.
2. Remove the damaged suction cup/cups from the Phantom Pad.
3. Get a money order for $4.95 (made out to "Phantom Pad Products")...this is to cover shipping of your free suction replacement cups back to you.
4. Mail the proof of purchase voucher together with the damaged suction cup/cups and the money order to: Blitzkrieg, Inc. c/o Phantom Pad Products, 301 West 28th St. Suite Q, National City, CA 91950.
You will receive your free replacement cups as soon as your request has been processed. Time frame for this is usually no more then 7-10 working days.
