PhantomPad checks for a newer version on every launch. If one is available a non-modal banner appears at the top of the window. Click Download to open the new installer in your browser; running it upgrades the existing install in place (your settings, profiles, and license stay).

There is no auto-update yet — you stay in control of when to install. Updates are free for the life of the install.
